This was a school project about UN quota refugees. The task was to make a publication to comment or help the refugees in their new country.
I decided that I wanted to make a kind of abstract story, trying to illustrate how it must feel to be a stranger in a new country, to feel different and alone. The story is about a girl forced to leave her home and move to a new place. During her journey, she transforms, and arrives as a birdlike person. Feeling alone, she tries to get in contact with others, but she only gets misunderstood. Trying to flee from the feeling of being an outcast, she spreads out her wings and flies away. In the last picture we see that she is in her human form again and it might have been a dream or a strain of thoughts.
